This stays in the app's private storage. Settings → Reset Progress erases your progress, coins and boosters; deleting the app erases everything.
When you first open the game it asks how old you are. Your answer stays on your device. The only thing that leaves it is a yes/no signal to our ad partner saying whether ads must be suitable for a child under 13. Your age itself is never sent.
Ads are served by Unity LevelPlay (ironSource Ads), a service of Unity Technologies. Ads appear between levels, and you can watch an optional video in the shop to earn free coins. The Remove Ads purchase stops the between-level ads; the free-coin videos stay available because they are always your choice.
To show an ad, measure that it was seen, cap how often you see the same ad and prevent fraud, the ad service receives:
We tell the ad service, for every player, that consent to personalised advertising has not been given and that personal information must not be sold or shared. The app never asks for permission to track you on iOS, so the iOS advertising identifier (IDFA) is not available to it. For players under 13 the ad request is also marked as directed to a child, which limits it to ads that comply with children's privacy laws (COPPA).
Unity's own handling of this data is described in the Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.
Coin packs and Remove Ads are bought through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handles the payment; we never see your card, bank or billing details. The app only receives a confirmation that the purchase went through, which it uses to add your coins or turn ads off. Restore Purchases in the shop asks the store to re-apply Remove Ads on a new device.
The game uses Unity Analytics to learn which levels are too hard and where players stop. It sends gameplay events — app opened, level started, won or failed, booster used, shop item bought — with a random identifier created for this install, plus basic device information. It does not include your name, email or Apple ID. Switch it off in Settings → Share Usage Data; doing so stops collection and asks Unity to delete what was already gathered.
On first launch the game makes a random player ID (shown at the bottom of Settings as "BB-XXXX-XXXX"; tap it to copy). It contains nothing about you. On iPhone it is kept in the device Keychain and your own iCloud so it survives reinstalling or moving to a new iPhone; on Android it is kept on the device. It is not sent to us. If you write to support about a purchase, quoting it helps us find what happened.
On Android, after the age question and only for players 13 or older, the game offers to sign in with Google Play Games. If you do, Google gives the game your Play Games player ID for this game and your Play Games display name. The game keeps them on your device, linked to your player ID, and shows your name in Settings. They are not sent to us. Google's privacy policy covers your Play Games profile; you can sign out or delete it in the Play Games app.
If you choose to sign in, Apple gives the app a stable user identifier made for this app only, and — on the first sign-in and only if you allow it — your name and email address (Apple lets you share a private relay address instead). We use the identifier only to keep your progress with you. You can sign out or delete the account in Settings; deleting it unlinks your Apple ID and erases the iCloud copy of your progress.
If you are signed into iCloud, your levels, stars and boosters are also kept in your own private iCloud key-value storage so they can follow you to your other devices. Coins are not copied to iCloud; they stay on the device. It lives in your iCloud account under Apple's privacy policy; we cannot read it.

Bonbon Blast is made for all ages. Because children may play, the game asks every player's age and treats anyone under 13 as a child for advertising, as described above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents who believe their child has given us information can e-mail us and we will delete it. Parents can stop purchases with the parental controls on the device (Screen Time on iPhone, purchase authentication on Google Play).
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its use. Because almost everything stays on your device, deleting the app removes it; for anything else, e-mail us and we will reply within 30 days. Residents of the EU, UK and California have these rights in law, and may also complain to their local data protection authority.
When this policy changes we update this page and the date at the top.
